“Oh. I was just wondering. He looks like a nerd!”
I laughed, even though I didn’t think he was a nerd. Whatever. I didn’t have to think about him, I was the most popular girl in the 11th grade, along with Liza, and I could get any guy I wanted.
“So, who will it be?”
“Liza! You really expect me to answer! Who would you pick?”
“Well, I think I would narrow it down to, Joseph, Max, Tyler, Kevin, Andy, Paul, and Josh!”
“Boyhog!”
We both smiled. We couldn’t help that we were obbsessed with boys.
I realized soon enough that boys weren’t the only important thing in life, and that the most special boys are the ones standing right in front of you, the ones you don’t even notice.
