I just smiled. I knew, every inch of me had known there was somethng more to James’ powers. James caught my eye from the floor again and a huge smile broke out across his face. I knew we were thinking the same thing now.
James helped Angela up and kept an arm on her to steady her. He never took his eyes off mine though. I realized Dailey was holding me as well.
I guess we’re above such childish things as jealousy? I asked James.
He laughed and smiled at me and only me, Yeah, completely.
“James?” Angela asked hesitantly.
“Yes?” He answered, still not looking away.
“There’s big responsiblity in being and MPC … Your guard must be up 24/7 for you never know who is going to try and take over your mind and use your powers. And Anya?” Angela paused until I nodded for her to go ahead. “You as well must be careful, but use James’ powers to your benefit. He will be able to tell you things that know one else could know.”
“How?” James and I asked.
“He can enter anothers’ mind undetected.”
