Pretty bad day

I can’t believe it… I thought to myself, as I sat miserably in class, waiting for the final bell to ring.
I didn’t hear a word of what the teacher said, so homework wasn’t an issue tonight…

The bell finally rang; I scooped up my bag, and was the first one out of class. I passed some of my friends in the hallway, not acknoweldging their ‘heys’ or friendly waves…
I was the first to reach my bus, and took an empty seat in the back. I ripped my ipod from my pocket, and burried the headphones in my ears, turning it up all the way to drown out any outside noise. It was like that the whole way home; some people gave me odd looks, while others seemed worried.

They don’t care…

I got up as soon as I realized we were close to my stop. I swiftly got off the bus, and ran up my driveway. My parents weren’t home weekdays, so the house would be empty.

Thank God…

I unlocked the front door and slammed it behind me before running upstairs to write a depressing ficlet…
