A Taste for Adventure

“All we had left to eat was a can of mustard sardines and
a couple of mentos. Oh yeah – we didn’t even have a
canopener for the sardines,” Craig said to the group of
reporters.

“What kept you going as a group?” one of the reporters
asked.

“We knew that if we stopped we would probably die and that
was enough to keep us going. We followed the sound
of the drums until it was so close that I just couldn’t take it
anymore and I yelled for help. Then they surrounded us. They
had been following us for awhile. We just couldn’t see them.”

“Anne Gibbons here from News Center 8. How did you know
that the tribe of cannibals would accept your group?”
Anne inquired.

“Well, Anne, we didn’t. It was a chance we had to take.”

“Knowing what you know now, would you have done it all over?”

“O.K. stop. – that’s enough. You want to know what it took to eat my own family. Did they taste like chicken? Were they scared? Would I eat human flesh again? This interview is over! John, get me outta here.”
