I sat at the computer, my eyes wide and glassy from spending so much time on Myspace.
“Haley, can I come in?” said my mother, who made me jump.
“Just a second!” I said, exiting out of my conversation with a hot seventeen year old. I unlocked my door and let my mom in.
“How many times do I have to tell you not to lock your door!”
“Sorry mom,” I mumbled. My mother nodded.
“Did you finish packing all of your things?” she asked. I looked as if I were moving out. I practically was. All my posters were taken down my my closet was completely empty. Did I mention my dressers and all my makeup?
“Yeah mom,” I said, starring down at all my suitcases and bags. Going to boarding school was going to be the worst experience of my life.
“Honey I promise, going to Middleton Academy will be great! I even went there when I was your age!” That just made matters worse. The place was probably a hundred years old by now.
“Yeah,” I said, sitting down on my bed.
“That’s the spirit!”
“Everything will be just great,”.
