“Rose!” Tyler practically screamed in my ear.
“Hello to you to.” I laughed.

“Oh Rose… I’m going to New York tomorrow…” He told me, suddenly serious. “My grandma has cancer!”

“Oh Tyler, that’s terrible! I am so sorry… That is just horrible.” I said, a tear in my eye.

“Don’t worry Rose… I’m okay, it’ll all be okay.” Tyler said honestly.

“I’m going to, oh that is just… ugh!” I said throwing my hands up in the air. “Tyler… I hate to leave you… but mom wants me off the phone now, says she has something to tell me? I love you, bye.”

I closed my cell and threw it on my bed, heading downstairs.

“Yeah mom?” I said ploping on the couch.

“Hunny, we’re going on a trip. Just me and you. For some bonding. Sound fun?” She looked so excited, I couldn’t help but smile. And that would help me get my mind off not being able to talk to Tyler.

“Yeah! Where are we going?” I asked.

“New York.”

    Yay! Ha, yes, they wouldn’t be separated too long! Very enjoyable string of sequels that you’ve made. Definitely looking forward to the action to come. : )

    Ooh, nice twist and certainly sets up a lot of potentials and later drama, which could go beautifully or horribly. I’m not %100 on some of the dialog; might be worth really trying to picture how you and a friend would talk.
