She looks back after getting off the ride, only to see a semi-familiar face take off in the next car. She walks with her friends out the exit ramp.

“Guys… I’ll catch up with you ok?” She asks. They tell her ‘no’, but agree to get a Dip’n’Dots just around the corner and come right back.

She turns back to the exit ramp as they walk off and begins scanning the faces for him. Soon she sees him walking with his friends. He looks up and sees her watching, she blushes but doesn’t look away.

He walks up to her, his friends trying to figure out what he’s doing. They look into each others eyes and they know. She steps forward, closing space between them as the breeze picks up. He gently tucks it back behind her ear, letting his hand linger there. She wraps her arms around his neck as she raises to her tiptoes, and he takes her face in his hands.

Ever so gently, he bends down to close the remaining space between them and kisses her full lips.

    hey i thought that this was awesome how you held to the present tense without fail. You rock even though that is not suppossed to be a big deal, i alsways mess it up good job band

    You also had me at Dippin’ Dots! LOL ! This was a sweet sweet moment, and I love how you didn’t put any detail into who these people were, allowing the reader to come up with their own picture of how the scene plays out (probably inserting themselves into it).
