writes love on her arm

she slowly cuts away the pain
as she writes her story on her arm
people see
and just walk away
because they dont want to see
the pain shes in
the pain they cause her
no one tells
no one says a word
because what she does is keeping her alive
the cuts she makes
the pain she causes
makes the thoughts of suicide go away
so all the self harm keeps her breathing
for atleast one more day

    there’s a charity called To Write Love On Her Arm (or something of that sort). my friend showed me it, and this poem portrays their message verry well.
