Sunshine flooded in the room like a candle being lighted. All she needed was that little bit of sun light and the promise of a new day.

She sighed as an uncontainable smile crossed over her face. She couldn’t help but be happy today. It was one of those days when you just had to smile or else. But this smile was true.

Today marked another year of life and today was what she had been waiting for. Most people don’t like growing old but not her. And I don’t say that in a bad way. She once told me that you don’t grow old, you grow better or something like that. So today, she used her powerful words and beautiful smile to go on into life.
