Shihai's Moonlight

The gore slowly spreading across the cobblestones jogged his memory in macabre fashion. Squinting his eyes in the cool light of the moon, Shihai again considered his opponent, this braggard, this dullard, this fool who had thought to challenge him. Pride aside, one conclusion remaining fixed among the swirled and confusing memories nagged at his sense of worry and unease; he had not killed his foe.
