Pile of Leaves ((Fall Colors Challenge))

I laugh genuinely as I continue raking. The soft Autum wind plays with my hair and carasses my face.

“Your turn.” My friend Brigette laughs.

“Help me rake these back up first, silly.” I say.

She scoffs, but picks up the rake she dropped and begins raking the fallen leaves.

“Ooh, look Brige” I call.

She looks up and comes over to see what I’m holding. “Wow, it’s so red!”

“I know… it’s gorgeous!” I say, turning the dazzeling red leaf over and over in my hand. It was perfectly shaped and didn’t have a single whole in it. I walk up to my deck and set it on the table there, careful not to get it mixed up with the other, duller leaves covering my deck.

I turn back around, then full out sprint towards the pile Brigette just finished making again. I jump and land in the center, sending leaves everywhere. I sit up laughing, and cause Brigette to laugh too.

“What?” I say.

“Your hair is full of leaves!” She says, laughing at me.
