“What a stupid idea,” Sarah softly speaks into the phone,” I knew what he was going to say, but i’m was dumb enough to do it anyway.”
“Hey look, it’s not your fault, it’s his loss.” I say hoping she’ll get the hint.
“Really? How would you know? Your just Matt my almost brother-like friend.” She talks with a surprising tone in her voice.
“I just know, okay? Seriously, anyway you weren’t dumb for asking that question.” I say in a giddy voice.
“Okay, I’ll trust you.”
“Hey you wanna hang out sometime?” I say hopeing she will respond.
“Matty were hanging out tomorrow.” she exclaims blankly
“No, I mean….nvm.” I say disapointed
