Dragon Fire: The Evil One

Each one of you has witnessed the showers of hellfire
striking down our bastion, searing through our strongholds
and splitting through our altars and shrines. The Evil One has
returned to burn our ships, to scorch our homes, and to take
away our hope! We have lost our -“

“Are you gonna eat that?”

“What?”

“That piece o’ cheese? Are you gonna eat it? If you are, I’ll-”

“Hey – I’m trying to motivate the soldiers here? Can’t you eat after we attack?”

“But I’m hungry! Can’t very well shoot flaming arrows at an evil dragon on an empty stomach now, can we?”

“Go ahead.....”

“Thank you, mate. Now you were saying.”

“Huh?”

“You know – about the Evil One – smashing down our villages, burning our ships. You were on a roll. Don’t let me interrupt ye.”

“Right! Umm… ahem! The Evil One has taken our brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, cousins, sisters.”

“You already said sisters. We knew that one. You gonna drink that ale?”

“WHAT?!”

“That ale – if you’re not gonna drink it, I can get me own, but”
