She didn’t talk to any one from high school anymore, though many had promised to keep in touch. Of those she only thought 3 were really telling the truth, but even their letters and calls stopped with time.

Who had changed, them or her? Who could even say? She knew she had, but had it been her fault? Did she even regret it?

Sadly, no.

Those she loved so dearly just a few years ago meant little now. The memories no longer brought joy, just a stillness; like watching a favorite show so many time that it loses its intrigue, so had her recollections of her old “posse”.

To think they even had a name for their group- the Roving House Party, RHP when they were around people not of the “basis 4”. How very juvenile, but at the time they thought it was cool.

And that’s all that mattered.
