Ficlets

The world was white with a new substance the child had never seen before. Everything turned pure as if she had just stepped out into heaven. Her breath came out as smoke and rose against the falling snow. Each piece looked like a star on earth; and when she tried to touch it, just like a star, it dissappeared before her eyes. The cold around her ment nothing aslong as this heaven stayed. And that night, before she fell asleep she gazed out at her falling stars. They collided with the black of the sky and help lead her to another marvilous world. Her beautiful stars.
