There she was, Tarus Heather MacIntire (Tori for short), on top of the gorgous Moutains in West Virginia. Tori was had a serious mental problem, and only had 6 weeks to live, so her brother, Brendan, wanted her to make everyday last. This was her last week of her life. Brendan and Tori’s mother, Rainbow, was a very exotic woman. When Brendan was born, it was 1 month after Rainbow got a devorce with her husband, Simon, and was not feeling happy about having a child, but she did everything she could to be a good mother. When Brendan was 5, Rainbow got married to a horrible man, Elliot. He wasn’t the happiest about have a child either, when Rainbow had Tori. After Tori was born, Rainbow died. Elliot couldn’t bare to take care of two children. So, up for adoption they went. No one ever chose Tori, but everyone went foe Brendan. Brendan couldn’t leave his sister, because she needed him. No one ever chose them, so brendan turned 18, both he and Tori left. Using there last cent, Brendan made Tori’s last weeks great.

It is a good backgound to someone’s life but there is no real plot. Now if you were going to embelish and start talking more about Brendan and how his life falling apart caused something or other it would be great. But it isn’t a great place to start. I’d say write a sequal about Brandon.

Also kid dieing because of terminal illness is very overdone.

The last sentence was pretty good, and I’d call it the best part. It’s a good idea but I think that it’d be best as an actual book, not a short story, because in order to get the full meaning and emotion of it, you need a full plot and lots of details.
