Ficlets

There are many songs. Slow songs, fast songs, techno songs, punky songs. Every body and every thing has a song. An individual, one-of-a-kind, unique piece of him/her/it that is always true. Sometimes the song is happy and sometimes…........well, let’s just say that this song wouldn’t exactly make everybody “pump up the party”. But I once was outside a shop and I saw a poster of a man with a guitar and a broken heart who was quoted to be saying, “Life is the saddest song.” That made me wonder. Because if all the songs in the world combine, they would be life’s song. Would it be a sad song, or a happy one? Then I realized that the answer lies within us. If more people have sad songs, then life will have a sad song, and vice-versa. Out world is only what we make of it. And there’s so much more to explore, so many more songs to hear. And it’s our duty (yes I said duty) to make the songs happy ones and to make the world a better place. Will you make your song?
