Shortly after my mansion exploded. I was face down in the slimey dirt. Wearily watching the man drive off with every ounce of energy i had in my body.

Later I awoke in my, obviously used, hostpital bed. I looked around, very slowly, using as little energy as I could. Then the nurse walked in. No one had a clue what had just happened to myself.

The staff told me ‘I was in a devastating car crash.’ I don’t believe them. Not after what I saw that day.

    Nice continuation; we know the narrator is alive, but in addition to all of the questions Stovohobo raised, you’ve added: What did s/he see that day?
