He Loved That Piano

by Laine P. Grey

He lived with his piano. Played each night before bed. He loved his piano.

One day he found a little bird, asleep in the white keys. Get off my lovely piano! But it just stayed right there.

He lived with his piano. Played each night before bed. He loved his piano.

The bird woke to look at him. Wondered where he was. Get off my lovely piano! But it just stayed right there.

He lived with his piano. Played each night before bed. He loved his piano.

He grew to love that little bird;the one that stayed there. He sing to it each night before bed.

He lived with his bird, and his piano. Sang and played before bed. He loved, he loved that piano. And that little bird.

Lovely, and the use of repetition was quite poetic. I want to write a sequel, but I don’t think I could do it justice.

I agree with THX 0477 , the repetition was great, it showed you the development throughout the piece.

I agree with the above two, repetition is usually bad, but this is pretty good. Brilliance.
