I turned my head around slowly. “Who said that?” I asked. The boys knew better than to call me beautiful, pretty, good looking, hott, toots, and anything like that or I would knock their teeth out!
“I did.” Ty called out bravely.
“Well Ty, I’ll cut you a brake as long as you take it back” I replied slowly and clearly. “So? Are you going to take it back?” I asked him.
“No I’m not.” He said and took a step toward me.
“Take it back” I said again and stepped toward him.
“No.”
“Yes!”
“No.”
“Yes!!” I said when we were finally nose to nose. “Look Ty, if you don’t take it back I’m going to have to do something I really don’t want to do.”
“Fine, hit me with your best shot” Ty replied. So I did.
