"The last time"

by T.J.

Thunder struck suddenly, casting a shadow of which anyone would consider to be an omen of death. But, to this one girl, she welcomed it with her arms wide open. For she had seen and had enough of the troubles of living.
Blinking once, she screamed for death, for when lightening had struck a second time she had viewed not the shadow, but him. As she pleaded for death once more, she thought to herself “This is the last time”.
Suddenly, she then withdrew a knife from the floor and thrusted it into her bosom as lightening had struck for a final time.

Wow. Intense. And leaving a ton of questions unanswered. I would say write a sequel, or prequel, but unless you have one planned, I don’t think you should write one just for the sake of writing one. The unanswered questions…suit it, I guess. I don’t know. Good job, though.

All I can say is “Ditto.” Oh, and I think a prequel would be good, but I agree with Officially, don’t write one for the sake of writing one, or because someone (like me) told you to.

I like it. It does have a certain air of unanswered questions about it. A prequel would be good unless none is planned. Then we can just ponder on our own what is really going on.
