Ficlets

He’ll find me in the woods, crying. He’ll be strong but gentle. He’ll pull me from the ground, and hold me in his icy arms. I’ll cry silently into his hard chest, and listen to the spot where his heart should be beating. I’ll look up into his dark eyes, one of them hidden by the emo bangs falling into his face. He’ll reach up and run his fingers across my lips softly. Then, he’ll put one hand on my back, just between my shoulder blades, the other on my neck. He’ll push my hair away, and put his lips to the base of my neck. His lips will part, and his fangs will pierce my skin. I won’t feel the pain, only the cold as he embraces me. Finally, he’ll stop. He’ll look back down at me, and kiss me deeply. I’ll taste my own blood on his lips. And I’ll know that my dreams have come true. Because he’ll be a vampire. And so will I. And we’ll be together forever.
