White Sky- A Memory of Blue Sky

I ran through the hills of our farm and into the forest beyond. I was bursting with energy as I ran through the trees. Then my foot hit a root sticking up from the ground. It was over and I fell, hard. I was dizzy, and when I tried to stand up, I fell over again. I reached my hand up to my head and felt something wet. I felt sick. I collapsed, everything sliding out of focus. I felt something on my head, something wet but rough like sandpaper scratching my head. Then all was black. I woke up in the hospital, my mothers worried face hovered over me. “Hi,” I managed weakly.
