Anson didn’t want Shelly to realize it, but he was close to panicking now as he searched for Bruce in the computer, fingers frantically typing in code after code to find his friend.

He remembered the day, about a year ago, that he and Bruce started the project.

“A computer game. Except not just that. You’re in it. And really the game is just the start. In the future…Wow, think about it, Anson! Imagine surfing the internet inside the internet. Test driving a car in your computer, then changing the color and driving it again. The possibilties are endless!”

Anson had been caught up completely. What a wonderful idea his friend Bruce had.

So when a real test was needed, Bruce said he wanted to go in.

Anson had been a little wary . What if something went wrong?

Bruce had an answer for this, too. Shelly. A girl he’d gone to college with. A doctor. A girl, Anson suspected, that Bruce had a thing for.

But now Bruce was lost in the computer, and how could Shelly help with that?

    Nicely structured, good job adding to the structure and filling in some things I hadn’t thought through.
