Almost a true story

The boat thrashed above the ways, shaking and sloshing in the water.
” No! I won’t do it, its…scary”, I feebly cried out, stepping away from the boat.
I hated boats, I thought everyone knew that but I guess a select few (i.e my friends) “forgot” that.
Roughly they pushed and pulled me into the boat.
“WAIT!”, I said.
But it was too late, the boat was already slushing around in the water. I cowered in the corner of the boat holding tightly to the railing.
Suddenly the boat lurched and I was in the air, flying above the waves. And just as suddnly I was in the freezing water.
“Lacey swim to the shore, the boat will turn around and let us off!”, my friends shouted over the roar of the boat. I swimmed slowly to the shore, feeling as if my toes were going to drop off, they were so cold.
I sat down on the shore, shivering. My friends came over with a towel and I grabbed it from them.
“I hate boats” I said pulling the towel over me.

    this story is kind of a true story
    i hate boats and just let my imagination run around with this story
    its not my best work but i like it

    for the people reading this ficlet my friends aren’t like this…the only part of this story that applies to me is that i hate boats.
