Second grade, 8th birthdays, and, for Jorden, more being ignored by her teacher. Though, this year, her teacher was great. She loved Jorden, but couldn’t focus on her because of all the other kids who weren’t at her level.
Not like Jorden cared. She was too busy reading, writing, and doing everything that the other kids hated doing.
On Jorden’s third actual report card, her teacher wrote that she was very smart, but never made any friends.
That comment changed Jorden’s life.
