The world is also like a sandwich. It can be very tasty, sometimes, depending on what type of sandwich you order. It is always very layered, maybe with ham or cheese, or even hamburger.

Then again, the lettuce might be curling, way overdue, and maybe the tomato has been completely consumed by gnats, eating away at it until one part of the sandwich is ruined.

It could be that the bread looks soft and wonderful on the outside, but on the inside, it’s mold-ridden and crusty.

Maybe the ham isn’t any good, or the mayonnaise has been sitting out all day. Oh, yes, on the outside, that sandwich is one hunk of delish. But the inside is rotting, decaying, dying.
