Before I had a chance to react, I was sitting in the sink, my head pressed against the mirror behind me, his hands around my neck. His hands were cold and hard, like the hands of a corpse. There was nothing particularly frightening about the face of my stalker; in fact, he looked like a pleasant man- except for the fact that his thumbs were getting ready to close my windpipe and shut me up forever.

My stalker smiled in the creepiest way imaginable as he leaned in towards me. I caught the reek of cologne coming off his body, and I turned my face away in disgust. His fists tightened around my neck.

“You’ve evaded me for far too long. It’s time to end this. I no longer want the pleasure you have to offer me.”

I struggled and squirmed, stuffed in the sink basin, and managed to get one leg free. I brought my knee up into his stomach with as much foce as I could muster, and took advantage of the slack in his hands’ grip to headbash him.

Thank God I’d taken those self-defense classes.

    I think this is the first in a while since a Ficlet in this series has actually frightened me. I like that he seems like a normal man, and that Tina apparently took self-defense.
    ~
    Please explain in your sequel how he was able to be so successful at stalking her. And if could, wrap up the alter ego thing too.

    okay what?? when did he start trying to kill her? if she’s dead, won’t he die too. wait…if she’s alive, shouldn’t he be dead? please explain!

    Okay, sorry for the confusion- I didn’t really revise it- but I just edited it, added a quote, maybe that’ll help. As for the “if she’s dead, why isn’t he dead?” thing, now you’re confusing me. Didn’t it turn out earlier in the prequels that her stalker and her alternate ego-guy-thing are two different people?
