By sequeling this ficlet, you have dared to enter the first annual YodaOnCrack Hellloween Ficlet Challenge from HELL !

Your challenge is to write a horror or thriller ficlet, putting your readers on edge or terrorizing them for this contest.

There is a special prize for the winner of this writing contest that will be coordinated by YodaOnCrack himself. If you have a PayPal account, Yoda will award you with $5 cash for being the winning ficleteer. If you don’t have PayPal, Yoda will reward you with a personalized ficlet on the subject of your choice.

Deadline: Oct. 31st

To make this a little more interesting, the winning ficlet will be sequeled until the total story reaches 2,000 words. When that happens, and the judges are comfotable with the story, Yoda will turn the story into a free podcast available to all willing and able ficleteers.

If you want to be a judge, send me a note. I am looking for at least two other judges for this competition.

    ooh i’d love to be a judge…MWAHAHAHA POWER …jkjkjk…but does that mean i can’t enter? that would be a minus…

    and does it mean we have to count out 2,000 words? or do you mean exactly 2,000 characters?

    Ooh, I want to play! Should my story be self-contained in one ficlet, or span several? If I use multiple ficlets to tell the story, will they be judged as a whole, or will only the “best” segment be considered?

    O.K., Kermitgorf, you can be a judge too, but I’m going to say “no” to any future judge requests. I believe I have 4 judges now – I’ll have to tally them up. Still loadz of time before the deadline – we could get a lot more entries…

    It’s October 4th – wonder how many more entries we’ll get? Samantha, as I mentioned in my note to you, you can be a judge. As a jedi master, one skill I’ve developed during my 900 years in the universe is bringing order to chaos. As the deadline approaches, I’ll make announcements about how the judging will work, etc. Glad to see the interest here – I’m hoping to recognize more than just the top single entry.     Huh, everyone else is commenting? I want to comment too, but I don’t want to judge. I have to work very hard on not being judgmental. And ha, and phooey, I didn’t even use a monster in my entry, much less a vampire.
