Finally At Home

She rushed down toward the edge of the ocean waves, stopping just where the water met the shore. She gazed at the off white foam that gathered against the sand. She felt the moist sand sink beneath her feet. The wind blew her dark curls into her face, but she didn’t push it away. The salty air flowed around her, enveloping her. The dull roar of ocean’s movement filled her ears

The sound, the smell, the feel—it enthralled her. She was finally at home.
