Homework
Homework.
It has no meaning, no point. When we’re young, they say we go to school to learn.
For the most part, I would say this is untrue.
We go to school to be critiqued. They critique us, and judge us based only on knowledge. They know nothing about us, but our knowledge, the things we know, the information we obtained from them.
I find knowledge to be a personal thing, like someone’s weight. If you wouldn’t want someone knowing how much you weigh, why would it be any better for someone to know how smart you are?
Homework is like a scale, for the brain. Like body weight, people have ideal images for a perfect brain.
One hundred percent is the ideal image for the brain.
The people who run schools are measuring your knowledge.
There are only a few reasons people go to school. The most likely is to get a good job, and have a successful life. Another big reason is to feed the ego. Without these things, the student remains unmotivated.
