A downer of a story, but I wanted to start something with a line like “where they set fire to Gram Parsons.” (Edited to “where they burned Gram Parsons” because of the character limit.) Anyway, a tribute to popular music’s saddest coincidence.
Here, here for poetic license. I had mine suspended a while back for a bad Hemingway pun, but now that it’s reinstated I’m doing fine. Nice, thoughtful piece here. I liked all the references, and it’s a good portrayal of this type of attitude, those that see the infamy or glory in a young, tragic death.
