She Never Got Along With Her Kindergarten Teacher (5)
As Jorden slowly adapted to being a Fourth Grader, (That term made her feel big and mighty, for once.) she realized that she didn’t have any friends. She asked her Mom, “Mom, who is my best friend?”
Her Mom didn’t answer.
(She was too busy helping Jorden’s older brother with his Math homework.)
Jorden was ignored by her teacher. This time it was because the other kids were so rowdy, and loud. Her teacher was an old woman, about 60-years-old. She was strict, prim, and didn’t like immature children.
Jorden asked herself why she was actually a teacher more than once.
On her fifth report card, Jorden’s teacher commented, “She is quiet, mousy, and does not get along with the other kids.”
That comment change Jorden’s life.
