Ficlets

The Events of Sunday the 30th of September: From a Pre-Lived Perspective

I was sitting at my computer a second ago wondering why, all of a sudden, it was like Ficlets had stopped.
I did some time-zone snooping and realised that it was only 6am in the US on a Sunday morning. Now I can better appreciate why there is not a soul awake on Ficlets.
But that got me thinking. I have already lived Sunday the 30th of September. A whole 20 hours of it and people in the US are just waking up to Sunday. So I thought I’d give everyone some insight into what happened today.

The sun rose.
Some people died.
Some people opened their eyes for the first time.
Some people laughed but others cried.
Some people relished their wealth while others begged.
Some ate full meals while others starved.
Some realised how good they have it and others checked themselves in with depression.
Some got sicker, some got better.
Cards were sent, flowers smelt, loves announced, hearts broken, fights fought, tests failed, tears cried, canvases painted, ideas expressed.

Nothing out of the ordinary, I guess.
