Buisness as usual part 1
Just because I’m young, doesn’t mean I am stupid
The quote wrapped around Bella’s shiny black coffee cup like a snake. Just because you’re stupid doesn’t mean you’re young either she thought silently to herself as she smiled pleasantly at the older gentleman in front of her.
Avis Burns was a regal sort with hair that was the color of steel, and you knew better than to call it grey. He was wearing slacks and a white polo, with a pair of plain black dress shoes. He sat very stiffly in the chair, as if not used to be on the other side of a desk. He clutched a handful of paper in he right hand.
“Now Mr. Burns,” Bella began, her voice like liquid silk on a warm night, “I understand, but I need you to realize that mathematically the figures just don’t work.” She ran her fingers over the paper work that sat passively on her desk.
