Inside the tome - part II
She can ignore the darkness
For a while
He leaves pain and agony
Both physical and mental
But he also leaves food and drink
She makes herself sick on all four
Her food-deprived body screams
She tries to moderate how much she eats and drinks
She’s embarrassed
By the necessities she performs on herself, in the dark
The pain of his touch fades
As does the need for food and water
Dread comes and sits next to her again
Reminding her of the never-ending darkness
