MapQuest says it’s about 800 miles between NYC and Chicago, which should take those dudes, what, about an hour as the horse of the apocalypse flies? (Though I think, and feel free to correct me in a sequel if I’m wrong, an apocalypse horse still needs a road to travel on. Rules is rules.)
