Frankie, Chapter 1, Part 2

“Ahhhhh!â€? I felt something abruptly crash into my face. I took the wet, slimy, thing off my face.
A newspaper? I thought. My finger felt a tingling sensation every time I touched it.
Time seemed to stop at that point. The thrashing rain, the earsplitting thunder and lightning, and the fierce winds all came to a halt, as the bright sun came out of the dark sky.
I was still holding the saturated newspaper. I decided to keep it as a souvenir to the memories I was just going through.
I took the mystery newspaper inside to examine it. I flipped through the pages. There were 23. The strangest thing was there was no title, no date, no nothing, except one thing on the front page. Well, this is weird. I couldn’t help but read the odd print. It was in huge, bulky letters. It was also in the color I thought was blue-gray. This is what the words said:
