Interesting idea, but not quite my cuppa tea. Very well written, though, which more than compensates for the concept not being quite my “thing”.

This was actually written as a sequel to a piece called ‘Treed’ but a system error prevented it from getting sequel linked.

I like it. Not quite where I was going with Treed, but that’s what Ficlets is all about, isn’t it?
