Let the rain fall
Let the rain fall
Making a moist shadow along the pavement
Making the plants glisten in a million colors
And making the umbrellas shake their pointed heads
While trying to let go of the weight of a few drops
Let the rain pour
Turning the roads from gray to black
Turning the overcrowded streets into a ghost town
And crowding the small dry awnings
While the people wait for a stop in the storm
Let the rain stop
Filling the streets with the busy people
Filling the blackness into gray
And filling the umbrellas with sunlight
While the clouds part one by one
