Nice work! One of the fun things about this place is seeing how ideas go and where they go. I hope I haven’t messed anything up for anyone – but I also hope others have been as pleasantly surprised by what other minds bring to the table as I’ve been. You guys have given me some ideas I never would have had, otherwise!
Yeah, I love the progression of ideas between us all (well, three of us… why aren’t there more? we need to be LEGION ).
And, by the by, if my count is correct then this is the 35th story in this series. We should have a Cliff Notes version of the tale of the story so far for new readers…
oh and i would recommend posting the link to the very first story in the series on ALLTHREE of your guys’ profiles…such bad english I know…so that people can follow along if new…
although you could make a quick buck if you made a cliff notes…perhaps its not the such a bad idea after all…
I second the idea of posting the very first Ficlet link into either the profiles or as a comment. ~ Absolutely first-rate Ficlet. Loved the definitions of the Four Horsemen & the gods. ~ Favorite lines: “use your indoor voice even though we’re outdoors” and “way past my paygrade”. Made me laugh while maintaining the story’s intensity.
Thanks, Alexa. I really liked the “indoor voice” line myself… it’s rare that I make myself laugh, but that did it. And the “way past my paygrade” line just seemed so Blake to me.
