She walked through the beautiful white & lavender courtyard of her brother’s wedding. She was wearing a backless dress that she was rockin & she knew it.
She kept her head up high & her confidence level untouchable, hiding her pain. She smiled on the outside, crying on the inside; presenting the image of a strong, intelligent & poised black woman but because of his choices, inside, she was emotional &confused.
She walked up to her brother, “Hey, Congrates!”
“Laura Ann?!? I’m glad you could make it, but you know he’s here right?” said Romeo.
“What?! He’s here? Why would he be here? At my brother’s wedding!”she said.
He pulled her aside, “Are you sure your okay with him here?”
“Yes, Romeo, I’m fine. Anyway have u seen Andi?”
“Yeah, she’s by the fountain.”
Laura Ann kissed Romeo on his forehead,” thanks big bro.”
She walked over to the fountain, her dress blowing in the wind, the light of the camera caught her face in the prettiest setting.
“Andi?”
She stopped! There he was, kissing another woman.
