My comment was brutally attacked by some sort of computer glitch. What I tried to say was I’m a psych major, I like this story, it’s right up my alley, etc. And you have no idea how often people walk into a therapist’s office expecting to get sent back home with some certificate….yadda yadda.

I totally know this feeling…I mean, how could I have a disorder? This is great.

Ooh, a psych major!? I was one of those, oh so many years ago. And yes, the emotions surrounding diagnoses and labels can be quite intense and can even go both ways. I’ve had patients vigorously defend their diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder.
Neat little addition to the story, though it seemed to jump a bit, maybe cause it’s been a while since I read the first part.
