“Um…ok. Is there something I can do for you”, he asked.

“Talk to me”, she said.

“Ok. What would you like to talk about”, he asked.

“Did you see the news about the accident?”

“The one that just happened?”, he asked

“Yeah, the young couple. They were on their way to this hotel”, she said.

“How would you know that?”

“They said it on the news”, she told him.

“Thats impossible”, he said.

“I know what I saw”, she said.

“The accident just happened, how would it be on the news already”, he asked.

She opened her mouth to speak but closed it.

“I dont understand. I just saw a news report about it”, she said as she wiped her eyes.

“What did the couple look like”, he asked.

“Well, the women had black hair, big dark brown eyes, she was tanned. The man was sort of pale, dark hair, wore glasses”.

The clerk shifted from side to side. She leaned against the counter to get a closer look at his name tag.

“So your name is Ryan”.

He nodded his head.
