phew, some science. the math was killing me for a while there.

since we’re on the subject of science now, anybody care to explain the vacuole, nucleus, golgi bodies, etc. of a cell? i don’t get it, and i have a bazillion point test tom. =[

btw, dy/dx = 12x^3 + 4x is incorrect. it’s 3x to the power of 4, not multiplied by for. therefore, it is 61x + 4x = 65×. unless tht was another part of the equation?

I’m pretty sure I differentiated it right, but it wasn’t very clear given the unexpected superscript. What I’d meant to write at the start was “Let y = 3x^{4^ + 2x}2^{”, which does differentiate to dy/dx = 12x}3^ + 4×. Not that it really matters!

Gah! Can anyone tell me how this stupid markup system works?
