She laided in her own bed, quiet & peacefully thinking to herself as she wrote in her diary.
He’s gone. Finally, now I can breathe, I finally had enough courage to kick that broke ass out. He chose her over me& I’m glad he did, because he didnt deserve someone like me. I’m a good woman, I need a man that love me for me, like Dewayne (lol) so I guess the solution for my problem is three simple words: I choose me.
She turned over & tried to fall asleep.Then an idea popped in her mind.She rolled over & got her phone.
“Hello?”
“La, is everything okay? Did he come back, cause me & John will whoop some ass if we have to.”
“No, Romeo,I want to say thank you & I love you.”
“I love you sis, I’m just glad you could count on me, to get him out. I’m just glad he didnt hurt you. If you ever need me, dont hesitate.”
“Thanks Romeo, I’ll call you back Denise is on the other line.
She clicked over.
“Denise?”
“Hey sis, go to the door.”
Laura walked over to the door and opened it,”DEWAYNE!”
“I choose you.”
