Very nice little story, one of the entries heavy on story but with a bit more about the color than I managed. Very sad but well done.

I’m new and learning the etiquette, but I’m thinking I should comment that I liked your story and atmosphere so much that I wrote a sequel. As you can see, I picked another color and took the narrative in the direction of that color. :)
