“NO!”
I stared furiously at his unphazed face.
“How could you do this to me?!” I asked my voice a little calmer.
“Rachel I have to go now, I have—”
“Traitor!!”I screamed my voice cracking every syllable.
Zach put his hands in the air, as if a surrendering army. “Hey, Rach, I told you not to be mad, it’s not my fault you’re not the girl for me.”
“But,” I said through loud sobs, “I love you . . .”
“I don’t love you though, that’s the problem!”
Then he stormed off, out the door forever.
There was no hope for return. . .
