NBA Dream

Young Jamar Wattess was born on July 5, 2007. It was a small town in the outskirts of Philadelphia. His mother was only 19 years old. 15 years later he went to the casual high school of the area,Washington High. He played point guard on there struggling basketball team, the Bees. This is where our story begins.

I called for the ball right out side the key with 4 seconds to go. Down 45-44, I ran in side a little and took the jump shot. The ball was in the air for what seemed like hours, the buzzer rang, and the shot banked off the rim. The opposing team celebrated. Our season was over, we finished 2-10. In the locker room the center,Matt Ryan pushed me against the wall saying “Nice job, nigger.” I kept quite and continued to get changed.

I went home to find my mother with another guy in my bedroom. God knows what they were doing. I lay down on the couch and took a nap. Today was a rough day, I knew tomorrow it was only going to get worse.
