Dave Becomes the Invisible Man
Dave was a brilliant student of Optical Density, Refractive Index, when I met him at University.
After we married, we moved into a flat in Oxford, that had a large basement which Dave turned into a lab.
He was always in that lab mixing chemicals, it was annoying, he spent more time with lab rats and monkey’s than he did with me, Mary his bride of three weeks now.
“Dave, are you ever coming up for dinner?,” I called down to him on more than one occasion.
“Just a minute Mary, I’ll be right..”, Thump, Crash, “Oops, my bad, I’m ok nothing wrong here, don’t come down I’m fine, really I am,” said Dave.
So naturally I went down into his basement lab to have a look see.
He wasn’t there. How odd. Something bumped me. “Wha.. what the…,” I said.
“Mary, don’t be alarmed, I’m right here behind you,” Dave said.
Swooshing my arms in front of me I felt.. flesh .. a hand.. it couldn’t be, this is the stuff of science fiction, not science fact..my Dave, my handsome husband was… Invisible!!
